Champions youth soccer league rules and regulations

NO DOGS ALLOWED, these fields are located in a private facility, 

FIELDS: 

The main field will have two 7v7 fields, Field #1 and Field #2. 

Teams and spectators will share the end sideline on the main field. 

No one is allowed in the middle of the field except league staff.

Field 3 is across the main field.  

When we play on field #3 all coaching staff will remain on one side and the spectators the other. 

Field #4 in the middle, is to the right as soon as you pass the gate.

 NO one is allowed to stand behind the goals on all fields.

Games start on time.

25 minutes per halve (2)  

Clock starts 5 minutes after the scheduled game time. 

Grace Period is 10 minutes, after the 10 minute grace period, will a forfeit, team not present will lose. 

Five minutes break at half time for all games.

The referee has every right to shorten the time if the game starts late because you were not ready with your team.

All players must play according to their age.  

Yearly format.

Only girls can play down, one year.

Example:  A U11 female player can play with U10 and so on. 

Teams will have at least 6 to 7 games in the summer league.  

All games will be scheduled Sundays. 

The league will schedule games during the week with prior notice.

In the event of a schedule request or a bye, two games may be scheduled the same day.

Champions Summer League starts the last week of June will try to play all the games by the last week of August.  Please make scheduling request in advance. NO CHANGES will be made the same week of scheduled games.

Players must be properly register in order to play for one academy or club only. 

Teams must turn in roster by the second game on the schedule.

The league will notify the team the last day to register players.  This will be given before the end of regular season (2 games left)

Players arriving after the game has started must be checked before playing.

Players can play in more than one team for the same academy but not in the same age bracket.  Example if a player is U10, he can not play in two U10 teams, he may in the U11, U12 and so on.

All players must play at least one regular season game in order play in the playoffs. 

Team rosters will be checked specially during playoffs.

• Substitutions are unlimited
• Shin guards are mandatory.
• The referee has the final decision on what to wear in case of protection for additional injuries. 
• NO HEADERS for 2015 and under. 
• A goal may not be scored directly from a kick-off or restarts.
• Scoring procedure: 6 goals differential, your team may score more than 6 goals during a game but only 6 will be the difference.  
• Players are not allowed to play for a different club or academy.
• Players can only play for one club.
• If player is found to have played for two different academies will be suspended.

Tie-Breakers  Two teams only, head to head results. Three teams tie, the standings will determine the results. 

Players’ jerseys should have a numbers and listed on the roster.

Teams are suggested to have two sets of uniforms. 

The home team will dark use dark colors. The away team will wear light color or vests.

All team must be properly dressed in uniforms and must be the same color. . 

State ID, MSYSA, Birth Certificate or Passport. 

Only coaches may request proof of age; parents may not. Please make parents aware of this rule and help stop negative remarks directed at any player.

One referee per game, if in playoff team request more referees per game, an additional cost will be implemented.  Playoffs games are paid separately as well.

Discipling

All Red cards will be reviewed by the League and add additional fines and game suspension.

Referees have full control of any game, weather, coaches and parents behavior. If a game is terminated due a team or spectator behavior, the offending team will forfeit the game and could be fined.

The referee and the league can terminate games due to weather or field conditions.

If a game is terminated after the first half has been completed, the score result of the game will be final.  

Games being terminated after the first half due to weather or any other situation by the referee or league, the score result of the game will be final.

If a game is terminated before the first half ends, the game will restarted from the beginning at 0-0 but if the game is abandoned due other actions by spectators, players or team officials, the score will stand, regardless of the time of the match. The team blamed for the incident will lose the game.
